Four arrests in Tortolì as part of the investigation called "Batman".

Since the early hours of the morning, the carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Nuoro and of the dependent companies have been carrying out a precautionary custody order in prison and under house arrest, as well as searches and preventive seizures of buildings against four suspects for various cases of crime against public administration, against property and of an IT nature.

About a hundred soldiers in action, in addition to the canine units of the Abbasanta Hunters Squadron.

From what has been reconstructed, starting from April last year, the auction sale, relating to apartments and land of a company based in Tortolì , subjected to bankruptcy proceedings, would have been disturbed by two well-known entrepreneurs, in competition with a another man . The three, domiciled in Tortolì, in agreement with each other, would have piloted the auction procedures by making potential participants desist, with multiple threats, for the sole purpose of favoring the suspect identified as the frontman of the failed entrepreneur, in the purchase of the properties at an advantageous price and lower than the real value.

In particular, according to the declarations of those who had renounced participation in the auction, the latter would have been the recipients of obstructive attitudes and phrases in conjunction with the inspections, by the suspect who held the keys to the properties. These behaviors would have been followed by explicit threats that were carried out through sheets placed on the windshield of the car , as well as visits received at home and "good-natured" interference from third parties, with exhortations and advice to withdraw from the race.

The investigative activity also revealed the involvement of a Carabinieri marshal and an assistant chief of the Forestry Corps of the Sardinia Region , the latter in service at the time of the events and now on leave, not the recipient of precautionary measures.

The first would have controlled, by improperly accessing the SDI database in use by the Police Force, with his personal USERID, 5 people who, in different periods, had viewed the properties at auction, then renounced the submission of offers. The Carabinieri inspector would not have had plausible service reasons (apart from the friendly relationship with the entrepreneur undergoing bankruptcy proceedings) to carry out investigations on the people interested in the auction.

Today he was placed under house arrest on suspicion of unauthorized access to computer systems.

For the entrepreneur already subjected to bankruptcy proceedings and for another suspect, the investigating judge ordered precautionary measures in prison, while for the alleged frontman entrepreneur, who won the auction, house arrest.
