Alghero asks for answers on flights in territorial continuity and Sardinian politics tries to mobilize.

Salvatore Deidda, president of the IX Transport Commission of the Chamber, met Galeazzo Bignami, the Deputy Minister for Infrastructures and Transport, together with the Regional Councilor for Transport, the Sardinian Antonio Moro in the morning.

The exponent of the Giunta Solinas, after the meeting, reported: «We have set a technical meeting for January 4 with the Ministry of Transport, Enac and the Region which will allow us to guarantee, with an emergency procedure, the connections between the Alghero airport and the airports of Rome and Milan », argued Moro. «On this point the attention of the Government is maximum, as is the maximum support to the Region for a Sardinian model of continuity that corresponds to the needs of Sardinia».

Instead, the president of the Deidda Commission underlined: «We are putting in place all possible efforts to support the Region in guaranteeing a system of territorial continuity to the north-west and to the airport of Alghero and we are doing so with the support of the Government with the deputy minister Bignami and Enac », says the exponent of the Brothers of Italy. « We are convinced that we will find the solution on time. Furthermore, we also talked about the possibility of opening new routes with other Italian airports and experimenting with new systems of territorial continuity. A continuous dialogue that we will deepen with all the transport commissioners, through the fact-finding survey on air transport that will start in the Chamber of Deputies in January and a commitment in the light of the change in the offer of the national air market".
