Thus the regional councilor for Transport, Antonio Moro, who replies to the declarations of the deputy of the Democratic Party, Silvio Lai, confirming the numbers for the summer of the Sardinian airports.

"I also point out - continues Moro - that in the shortest possible time the Region has maintained its commitment to launch a bill that provides for up to 50% aid to carriers for the activation of new routes with an allocation of 25 million euros in three years . And this is only the first of the three pillars on which the new 'Sardinian' model of Sardinian territorial continuity is based, which is completed by continuity with service charges, on which a comparison is open with Brussels, and by direct assistance to passengers for the reduction of the cost of the tickets».

In the past few hours, in a statement, Lai had underlined the " skyrocketing prices for those who have to reach Sardinia in the summer months ", with exorbitant costs on flights following the "uncontrolled price increases by the shipping companies which have jointly established costs exorbitant prices on tickets, essentially making a cartel, in defiance of competition laws".
