Collision at the entrance to Nuoro, two injured and traffic at a standstill

Two minor injuries and traffic at a standstill on the outskirts of Nuoro. This is the toll of the road accident that occurred shortly after 5.30pm at the entrance to the city with a chain collision involving 3 cars and a commercial vehicle.

A total of 2 people were rescued by healthcare personnel and transported to the nearby hospital for checks. On site, the fire brigade team ensured the safety of the vehicles and assisted medical personnel.

The Carabinieri and the police were also present on site for the relevant investigations and for the management of traffic which suffered serious slowdowns. And currently the main entrance to the city from Viale Segni is haywire.
