Thousands of students in the streets in all cities of Italy - including Cagliari and Sassari - to ask the institutions for greater attention to the environment and a radical change of course to preserve the natural resources of the planet.

With the beginning of the schools, in fact, the mobilizations of the “Friday for future” movement, the so-called “Greta Thunberg's people”, the Swedish girl who has become the champion of the environmentalist battle in recent years, have also begun again in Italy.

In Cagliari the procession of young people joined the one organized by the Sardinian committees to ask for the protection of the right to health, while in Sassari the boys gathered in Piazza Castello.

"The climate crisis is not an isolated crisis - explain the promoters on social media - the different socio-economic issues are all correlated and the impacts of the climate crisis will be amplified by them, and vice versa. The science is unequivocal; a global increase of 1, 5 ° C above the pre-industrial average and the continuing loss of biodiversity will cause catastrophic damage to health that will be impossible to reverse ".

Similar events and initiatives took place in Rome, Milan, Naples and Turin. Many voices, a single warning: "Attention, we must act immediately because there is only one Earth and there is no planet B".
