Chiaramonti, a town in Anglona rich in history and culture, is preparing for the sixth edition of the "Sic Folk Festival" , the international folklore festival.

It begins on Friday 13 October, starting at 8pm, with "Feminas", the evening with guests and female choirs organized by the Coro Doria inside the Ciriaco Carru cultural centre . The key day will be Saturday 14 October: from 5pm there will be a parade and performances by local and international groups through the streets of Chiaramonti. The event will end with the show in the Municipality square . The foreign groups come from Colombia, Corsica and El Salvador.

«Anyone who owns a traditional costume and wants to wear it and represent their country is invited to participate in the parade, even if they are not part of associations or folk groups - the promoters say -. All participants will be welcomed with great hospitality, meal vouchers and drink vouchers, and will thus be able to spend a pleasant evening of folk music and fun."
