Chased on Highway 130, he had nearly a kilo of drugs at home

Almost a kilo of drugs was confiscated by the police from a house.

The operation began yesterday when the agents of the Crime Section of the Commissariat of Iglesias walked along the State Road 130 and noticed a car that, at the sight of the patrol, accelerated also carrying out reckless maneuvers and endangering the safety of other vehicles. With colleagues from the Volanti, they blocked the car.

At the wheel was a 49-year-old, already known to the police for drug-related events, who was subjected to control, then extended to his home where about 900 grams of hashish and marijuana were recovered. In one case there were also 1,500 euros in small denomination banknotes. At home there is also a switchblade knife and three precision scales, with the material useful for packaging the doses.

The man was arrested for drug dealing and today he will face the validation hearing for direct.
