The Sennorese Carnival opens with a four-day celebration starting from Thursday 8 February when the parade of five allegorical floats and masks will invade the streets of the town, amidst music and typical dishes.

The first appointment of the event, organized by the Pro Loco Sennori with the patronage of the municipal administration, is on Shrove Thursday with the masked party which, from 3.30 pm, will fill the oratory with games, inflatables, music and dances for all boys and girls, with pancake offered by the Santa Lucia Committee.

Second appointment with the carnival on Saturday 10 February: at 4pm from Via Marcora, in the Montigeddu district, the five allegorical floats (Disney + Marvel, Bollywood, The Scotsmen, the Circus, NASA) and the masked groups with hundreds of participants will leave; the procession will parade along via Cottoni, via Roma, via Vittorio Emanuele, via Italia, via Umberto and again via Roma until the "S'Iscala" walk with a final pancake offered by the Pro Loco. Special guests will also participate in the parade, such as the Seuin Street Band, the largest street band in Sardinia and some of the island's traditional masks: the Gigantes of Sennori, the Tumbarinos association of Gavoi, Sos Tintinnatos of Siniscola and for the first time, from Scano Montiferro, S'Ainu Orriadore.

The allegorical parade will be repeated on 13 February , Shrove Tuesday, following a different route: starting at 4pm from via Santa Vittoria, then via Umberto, via Italia, via Vittorio Emanuele, via Roma with an inversion (height of via Cottoni) to continue up to via Brigata Sassari where the final pancake will be held.

The Sennorese Carnival will end on Saturday 17 February at 4pm with the "Pentolaccia" which will be held in the gym of the Romangia multi-sports center in via Massarenti, with the masquerade party for children and families, entertainment by Animabimbi Magorì, games, music and inflatables, pancakes and refreshments for participants.

The municipal administration, the police forces and the Sardegna Emergenze volunteers will ensure with their presence that the event takes place safely for everyone".
