Cardedu, massive fire: fear in resorts, evacuation alert

New fires in Ogliastra. After the alarm in Tortolì , the emergency has spread to the Bari Sardo and Cardedu areas.

Here, more than anything, concern has mounted over the flames that licked the fences of some resorts. As a precaution, the parking lots where guests' vehicles were parked were cleared.

The evacuation of the structures was also assessed. Forestry, firefighters, Forestas, and volunteer groups were on site.

Then the forces on the field managed to get the better of the flames, but in the meantime the flames started between Gairo and Lanusei, towards the locality of Ulei.
