Cardedu, accident on the Orientale: two people injured

Accident in the late morning of today at the height of kilometer 90 of the Orientale, in the Cardedu area.

A couple from Tortolì were injured after falling from a Kymco People 250 scooter. Neither of them suffered serious injuries, but only a few aches and bruises. Damage, however, to the side of the two-wheeled vehicle.

The causes of the accident are being examined by the carabinieri of the Jerzu company who intervened to investigate and regulate traffic. The Tortolì firefighters and two 118 ambulances were on site, whose personnel rescued the two injured people, a 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, transporting them to the Lanusei hospital for checks.
