She was returning home, after her shift as a first responder at 118: in Viale Sant'Avendrace she turned left with her car to enter the gate of the building. At that moment there was a crash: a scooter - this is the first reconstruction carried out by the Local Police agents - probably in the phase of overtaking ended up on the side of the car, ending the race against two concrete flower boxes on the other side of the street.

The young man on the moped, a 28-year-old from Monserrato who was delivering pizzas, fell a few meters. The first to help him were the driver of the car and some people who put blankets on him to prevent him from getting cold. Then the 118 vehicles arrived, the maneuvers were performed on the ambulance and finally the injured man was taken to Brotzu, with a red code assigned. His condition is serious, but fortunately his life is not in danger. Today we will have a more precise picture of the situation.

The fear

The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. "We heard a very loud noise and shortly after saw a boy on the ground. He was motionless and moaning in a thin voice. We took some blankets and put them on him to prevent him from getting cold," said a couple who were on Viale Sant'Avendrace, right in front of the neighborhood church, walking their dog. The helmet that the 28-year-old was wearing also fell to the ground. From where the scooter was, between two large concrete flowerpots, it fell a few meters.

Sitting on a bench, the driver of the car recalled the moments of the crash. "I was turning left to reach the internal parking lots of my building. I heard a very loud noise. Only later did I understand what had happened."
