The red zone in Piazza del Carmine, the city's nightlife, security in the city, and the fight against drug trafficking. These are the topics addressed by Cagliari's new prefect, Paola Dessì, in her first press conference, held this morning at the prefecture's headquarters in Piazza Palazzo.

"I'm honored to hold this role in my city," she emphasized. "I find the situation already well-established. The goal is to continue working in collaboration with law enforcement to make the city safer for residents, business owners, and the tourists who visit."

Paola Dessì also discussed the red zone in Piazza del Carmine, with the ordinance currently expiring on February 28th: "We will discuss with the municipality whether to extend it and possibly also the territorial boundaries."
