The raid on a hypermarket on Viale Marconi, Cagliari, ended with a double arrest for robbery.

Two men, a 38-year-old from Cagliari and a 36-year-old from Selargius, were arrested by officers from the Flying Squad. While attempting to flee, they sped off on a scooter, stealing €100 worth of products from the shelves of Maury's without paying. They crashed into a police car, crashing into it while attempting to flee.

Fortunately, there were no injuries, and the two were stopped and arrested by officers. Charged with aggravated robbery, they were taken to prison by order of prosecutor Rossana Allieri. Tomorrow they will appear before Judge Claudia Sechi for validation. The stolen goods were recovered and the scooter seized.
