The lure of freedom was too strong. But he couldn't enjoy it, as he was under house arrest. Thus, a forty-two-year-old from Cagliari was arrested twice in the space of a few hours and will serve his sentence not at home but in prison.
The incident began last night, when Carabinieri officers from the Pirri station were alerted by the operations center to an alarm signal from his electronic bracelet. Officers intercepted the forty-two-year-old near his home, as he attempted to escape on a scooter. He was apprehended and arrested for evading arrest and taken home. He was scheduled to face a summary hearing this morning.

But today, a patrol from the Cagliari Radiomobile Company caught him again while he was walking home after a walk. He was taken to prison.
