Cagliari, in the night breaks the shop window and runs away

Attempted aggravated robbery and resisting a public official.

These are the charges to which a 36-year-old from Cagliari must respond, arrested by the Police Flying Squad Agents. Around 3pm last night the operators intervened for a report of attempted theft in a shop in Piazza Ichnusa.

The criminal, having broken the large window, was seen walking away in the direction of Via Nuoro. He hadn't managed to steal anything.

The Agents spotted him while he was trying to take refuge inside a nearby condominium room. Blocked - with difficulty because he put up a lot of resistance - he was arrested.
