At the poultry stall of a well-known Cagliari neighborhood market, not only roast meat could be found, but also heroin and cocaine. This is what the finance police of the 2nd Cagliari Metropolitan Operations Unit discovered during an investigation into drug trafficking.

During an inspection, conducted with the support of canine units, the Guardia di Finanza found the owner in possession of several doses already prepared for sale.

The subsequent house search yielded additional quantities of narcotics, particularly cocaine and heroin , as well as packaging materials and a precision scale. In total, nearly 40 grams of heroin and another 16 grams of cocaine were seized, along with €3,500 in cash.

The man was thus arrested and placed under house arrest by order of the judicial authorities.
