The owners of the restaurant " L'Incanto " in via Serri, in Barracca Manna (Cagliari), who saw their restaurant engulfed in flames during the night, did not allow themselves to be intimidated. “We received a call around 3.15 in the morning. Initially we thought it all started with the cigarette bin. But upon our arrival we realized that the situation was much more serious than expected», says the daughter of Tiziana Orani, one of the owners.
A few minutes to arrive at the place but enough to see the strips of fire that devoured the external spaces of the pizzeria. «The pergola that we also use in winter has been targeted. How do we know it wasn't an accident? Surveillance cameras filmed everything », confesses the restaurateur who immediately provided the footage to the police.
' Two people can be seen, one with a jerry can, the other starting the fire. But we are not sure that there are only two culprits: there could be more . But for now we have no other details. We are a family business and are well liked in the area. At the moment we have no suspicions about the motive. What is certain is that we will not stop ».
Once the fire has been tamed, the damage count. «The interior spaces are usable, just a few problems with the climate system, which we plan to resolve immediately. We will not stop, if the situation allows it we will open today ».
