He attacked his partner with a stick. For this reason, Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari Police Radiomobile Section and the Pirri Station arrested a 66-year-old pensioner living in the hinterland, in flagrante delicto.
The police responded to a report received by 112. According to the investigation, the man, during a petty argument, allegedly struck his partner with a wooden stick, causing a wound to her head. The attacker, who had previously reportedly abused the woman, was immediately located at the home and, based on the circumstances, was arrested.
The victim was immediately treated and transferred to the emergency room at Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari , where, fortunately, his life was not in danger. The man, however, was transferred to Uta prison.
