Cagliari, fire in an apartment: an entire building evacuated

There were moments of fear on Via Pietro Leo, in the city center, where a fire broke out inside an apartment. The flames, which started in the kitchen, quickly spread throughout the home, requiring the intervention of the Provincial Fire Department.

The teams that arrived on the scene worked to contain the fire and secure the entire building. As a precaution, all residents were evacuated. Fortunately, no injuries or poisoning were reported.

A patrol car from the Cagliari police station also responded to the scene of the fire to manage traffic and coordinate safety operations. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
