A fight between two riders (perhaps three) ended in blood yesterday afternoon in the Mc Donald's forecourt next to the distributor on via Bacaredda, in Cagliari. For the attack, patrol officers arrested the knife-wielding attacker, an Afghan citizen, for attempted murder during the night. The man is in prison awaiting validation of the measure.
The cause of the clash is still unclear. While the employees of the fast food chain were serving some customers, a short distance away two Asian boys who make deliveries on bicycles faced each other. Suddenly one pulled out a knife, or at least a sharp object, and violently hit his rival, a Pakistani, in the side.
The emergency services were called immediately: four Police patrol cars and a 118 ambulance rushed to the scene. The Areus operators immediately took charge of the injured man, with first aid provided on board. Then he was transferred to Brotzu: his life is not in danger.
The attacker did not move away and was immediately identified by the officers, who also collected some testimonies.
The episode comes less than 24 hours after another violence: in the night in via Sassari, in the center, two gangs of foreigners faced each other. The toll of the brawl is one injured and one arrested for attempted murder.
