An accident occurred this afternoon on Viale Regina Elena in Cagliari: a car and a non-scheduled bus heading towards the public gardens collided almost head-on.

One injured person was reported in serious condition and taken to the hospital with a red code. In the emergency room, his clinical condition appeared better than initially thought.

Local police officers arrived on the scene to investigate: they suspect one of the vehicles had crossed into the opposite lane.
