Four flights diverted to Alghero due to fog. The last Sunday of May got off to a bad start for passengers attempting to reach Cagliari Airport: the airport was shrouded in a thick blanket of fog from early in the morning, as is now customary at this time of year.

Weather conditions prevented landing at the Santa Gilla lagoon airport.

Four Ryanair flights have been routed to Riviera del Corallo: they arrived from Bologna (expected at Mario Mameli Airport at 7:10), Turin (7:30), and Bergamo (7:30). The diversion has already been announced for the Ciampino connection, which was scheduled to arrive in Cagliari at 7:50.

The lack of aircraft available on the runway has triggered a series of delays that are also impacting departing flights. The situation is expected to improve as the hours pass.
