After missing his train, he allegedly demanded a refund from the ticket office by violently banging his fists against the glass panel protecting the ticket counters. Then, when the Carabinieri arrived, he allegedly attacked them.

A 33-year-old employee was arrested by Carabinieri in Cagliari who responded to the Piazza Matteotti train station after being alerted by ticket office staff. The man allegedly refused to provide his personal details and then suddenly lunged at officers, hurling insults and shoving them in an attempt to evade the checkpoint, before being finally detained.

The 33-year-old was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, insulting a public official, and assaulting a public official, as well as refusing to provide his personal identity.
