The pine tree that fell overnight on Viale Sant'Ignazio in Cagliari is yet another to fall. The last one fell in November, and fortunately there were no cars or people nearby.

This time, luck wasn't on the side of the owner of the car parked directly below: the tree snapped in two, falling on the car between 11:00 PM and 11:15 PM, just a few dozen meters from the entrance to the Faculty of Economics. Fortunately, no one was passing by at the time.

Night traffic was diverted onto Via Frate Nicola da Gesturi.

Local police and public parks intervened to remove it.
