It is the first major construction site completed in Cagliari . But the beauty of the new Viale Buoncammino , one of the most panoramic streets in the city, clashes with a landfill where there is waste of all kinds, from glass bottles to fruit crates .

The waste is located near the new Marongiu Pernis square , which has just been restored.

City councilor Marcello Polastri filed a question on the matter addressed to the city councilor for soil hygiene. «The landfill - claims Polastri - contrasts with the beauty of the new Viale Buoncammino in which the new Marongiu Pernis square, restored with the very recent redevelopment of Viale Giussani, alternates the beautiful panorama with waste of all kinds and materials that are anything but biodegradable» .

«I find it absurd - concludes Polastri - that the notable presence of this waste, which clashes with the beauty of the view that can be enjoyed from this high point of the Buoncammino hill over the city below, was evidently not noticed by any worker or person responsible for the city's hygiene. ».
