Cagliari: A drifting sailboat ends up on the Poetto shoreline; there was no one on board.
The vessel, flying the Polish flag, has been secured

A sailing boat of approximately 12 metres , flying the Polish flag, was dragged by the waves to the shoreline of Poetto in Cagliari , where it remained stranded until the arrival of the Coast Guard.
The vessel was found this morning, and there was no one on board . Coast Guard officers responded immediately and secured the vessel.
Investigations are underway to reconstruct the circumstances of the incident. The owner of the vessel was subsequently located: he is an Argentine citizen.
