Serious road accident this evening in Cagliari , in via Is Maglias , where an 18 year old boy riding his scooter was hit by a car .

According to an initial reconstruction by local police, the young man was exiting Via Castelli when he crossed the street and was hit by a car approaching from Viale Merello. The vehicle was driven by German tourists.

The 18-year-old was rescued and rushed to Brotzu Hospital with a red code: his condition is serious. Emergency medical services and local police responded to the scene to conduct legal investigations.
