The Carabinieri of the Sant'Avendrace Station, supported by Pirri's colleagues, discovered a brothel in Via Santa Maria Chiara.
The military carried out a raid on the house, surprising inside the owner, a thirty-five-year-old of Bangladeshi origin already known to the police, and six young South American women , all legal residents in Spain. Initial investigations revealed that the women could be involved in paid sexual encounters also organized through ads published on digital platforms, with frequent "rotations" of guests from abroad.
The search was triggered after an investigative activity started following numerous reports collected by the Carabinieri.
Investigators have reconstructed a possible system of management of the apartment as a “brothel”, suspecting that the owner himself made the rooms available to the young women.
The man was thus reported at large on suspicion of aiding and abetting prostitution , while the young women were all identified.
