A 59-year-old man from Puglia was sentenced to 12 years in prison for raping a 14-year-old girl in a parking lot on Viale Bonaria in Cagliari.
The sentence was handed down yesterday by the court in the Sardinian capital, following an investigation that revealed that the man had lured the 14-year-old girl on social media, pretending to be much younger . Then, after persistent pressure and deception, he allegedly flew from Puglia to Sardinia to meet and sexually assault her.
