The Carabinieri of Sant'Avendrace arrested a thirty-seven-year-old woman already known to the police, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The officers, engaged in routine territorial patrol, observed the woman near her home, selling a package to a local 19-year-old . The officers' intervention allowed them to apprehend the young buyer, who, following a personal search, was found in possession of approximately 0.9 grams of hashish.

The subsequent search of the woman's apartment revealed 102 grams of marijuana, twenty-two of which had already been divided into forty doses ready for sale, 16 grams of cocaine divided into two packages, and another 7 grams of hashish packaged into nine doses.

The search led to the seizure of over 1,700 euros in banknotes of various denominations , a sum believed to be the likely proceeds of the illicit activity, a precision scale, various materials used for packaging the narcotics and a taser.
