A 31-year-old man from Cagliari was arrested by police on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

A Flying Squad crew passing by Piazza Costituzione noticed him as he was heading toward Viale Regina Elena, and at the sight of the patrol car, he attempted to flee. The attempt was unsuccessful: the officers decided to stop him for a check. He was indeed found in possession of 5 grams of marijuana and ketamine and a dose of cocaine , as well as €110 in small bills.

A subsequent house search found additional drugs, including approximately 86 grams of marijuana, 5 grams of hashish, a dose of cocaine, and another 20 grams of ketamine, as well as cutting agents, precision scales, and €1,500.

The man was arrested and the facts ascertained by the officers were submitted to the investigating judge for evaluation who validated the arrest.
