Cagliari, 24 stars awarded for work merit

Twenty-four Stars of Merit for Work awarded by the President of the Republic were delivered this morning during a ceremony in the Government Palace, in Piazza Palazzo in Cagliari.
The ceremony began with institutional greetings from the prefect of Cagliari Giuseppe Castaldo, the president of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia Alessandra Todde, the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Diocese of Cagliari Giuseppe Baturi and the Director of the Municipality of Cagliari Gianbattista Marotto representing the Mayor of the Municipality of Cagliari Massimo Zedda. This was followed by speeches from the Head of the Metropolitan Area Inspectorate of Cagliari and Oristano Irene Rosaria Cammarata and the Regional Consul Vicar of the Federation of Masters of Work Cesare Isoni, representing the Regional Consul, Graziano Manca.
The important honor, intended to reward workers who have distinguished themselves during their careers for particular merits of expertise and industriousness, was awarded to 24 new Masters of Labor, coming from all over the Island and employed in the various production sectors.
The Prefect, in particular, highlighted that with their commitment and dedication, "they have contributed to the progress of our country, representing a testimony to be passed on to new generations."
The Prefect wanted to ensure maximum commitment to the issue of health and safety in the workplace, in order to develop, with all the actors involved, useful synergies to spread the culture and practice of safety as much as possible.
