This morning in the primary school of Burcei the first Sardinian popular music workshop called "Sounds, voices and roots" was held.

A project of the "Ballu Tundu" association developed by the Sardinian popular orchestra of the launeddas maestro Orlando Mascia which can also count among its many musicians two Burcerians: Mario and Emilio Aledda.

The laboratory, wanted by the municipal administration, was welcomed with enthusiasm by the Manzoni school . It allowed the children to learn about the characteristics and history of numerous traditional musical instruments of Sardinia .
A journey through stories and sounds linked to the Island, useful for knowing and appreciating the cultural richness of the Island.
