He lost control of the car and went off the road, falling down the slope: the vehicle ended up with its wheels in the air, a few dozen meters further down.

The forty-three-year-old involved in the accident that occurred last night on Provincial Road 83 had a close call.

He was traveling along the Buggerru coast road when, having reached a narrowing of the roadway, he swerved to the right and ended up in the precipice. That point is affected by construction and there is no guardrail.

The car is still there, at the end of an artificial canal. He was transferred to the hospital: he got away with wounds and bruises but his life is not in danger.
