First green light for the budget variation.

The third committee, chaired by Alessandro Solinas (M5S), approved the bill with only the majority vote. Ultimately, considering the resources recovered through increased revenue recognized by the Ministry of Economy and other budget surpluses, the budget will allocate "approximately 1.5 billion euros," explained Giuseppe Meloni, regional budget councilor, before the meeting began.

The opposition has requested the ten days allowed under the rules to draft the minority report. This means the text will be brought to the floor no earlier than July 28th, seeking final approval just before the mid-August holiday. The majority rapporteur is President Solinas (M5S), while the minority rapporteur is Fausto Piga, deputy group leader of the FdI.

The center-right calls this a "blind" move, given that crucial amendments, such as those to provide aid to companies facing financial hardship due to high fuel prices or to reduce airport taxes during the winter months, will only be approved in the Chamber.
