Bottidda has a new centenarian among its inhabitants: Aunt Zizza, born in September one hundred years ago. Only two days ago the mayor of the town, Daniele Cocco, celebrated a century of life for Aunt Damiana. Together with Aunt Emilia Pedde, the community of Bottidda has three centenarians, lives marked by the Second World War, years lived between difficulties and joys.

The mayor wanted to celebrate these special days with them and blow out the hundred candles, in the company of friends and relatives. A shared milestone between smiles and caresses, hugs and lots of joy. Many good wishes messages arrived from the citizens of the community, words of affection that also arrive from the mayors of the neighboring municipalities.

Bottidda, a municipality in the province of Sassari with just 650 inhabitants, is located 396 meters above sea level, in the historic region of Goceano, an area of extraordinary beauty that today has one of the highest percentages of centenarians.
