A 78-year-old pensioner, Giuseppe Pinna, died after being hit multiple times with a screwdriver in his home on Via Pischedda in Bosa.

Carabinieri from the Macomer branch have already arrested the alleged perpetrator, his son Paolo Pinna, 42, who is currently under arrest at the police station. The technical investigations were carried out by the Nuoro Investigative Unit.

After the attack, the elderly man was transported in critical condition by 118 to the hospital in Nuoro, where he died shortly after arrival.
