As many as 1,900 marijuana plants seized in Borore : this is the result of the latest operation carried out by the Carabinieri of the Macomer Company.

A 38-year-old from Pattada was arrested after being caught tending to an illegal marijuana plantation grown in the countryside a few hundred meters from the town. To encourage the plants to grow, the man had also installed a drip irrigation system .

The plants, between 120 and 200 cm tall, were ready to be harvested.
