A man was hit in the head with a billhook: this is the result of an argument that broke out this afternoon in the countryside between Sarule and Ottana, between four people, all related to each other.

According to initial findings by the Carabinieri of the Nuoro Provincial Command, who responded to the scene, the four men argued over the boundaries of their land. At the height of the argument, they confronted each other, armed with agricultural tools.

One of them fared the worst and was transported to the emergency room of the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro by a 118 ambulance.

Two of the people involved in the fight were taken to the police station by the Carabinieri for further investigation.
