Bomb scare in Cagliari: suspicious package in front of the Region, but it was just forgotten groceries

Alarm for a suspicious package this morning in Viale Trento near the Regional Palace.

A passerby noticed the package and called 113. The flying squad and Digos officers arrived on the scene and cordoned off the area, followed by the bomb squad and the forensic team.

After an initial inspection, it emerged that it was a container with forgotten groceries inside.

The object was still made to glow.
