The director of the Municipality of Nuoro, Roberto Delrio, with determination 134 has decided to declare the forfeiture two years in advance of the 12-year contract signed in 2015, of Ampere Sistemi e Strumentazioni Elettroniche SAS di Mattana Francesco e C., the company that managed the former Civic Market (ExMe) and the multifunctional structure for the promotion of tourism, culture and commerce, due to numerous contractual breaches and arrears.

Among the main violations contested by the Municipality, the company has not respected its obligations regarding the payment of the rent (contested the failure to pay the second half of 2023 and the rent for all of 2024), the payment of installments of the previous debt, and the regularization of the tax and social security positions of the employees. Despite some communications and requests for debt restructuring, the company has continued to fail to comply. The termination of the contract, writes the Municipality, takes effect immediately and forced execution will be carried out to recover the payments due. Furthermore, the Municipality will take over the management of the rental contracts with the operators present in the structure.

The company has 30 days to remove the occupants from the structure and return the property. If the company fails to comply, the property will be acquired as “res derelictae.”
