Three people accused of attempted murder were sent for trial today in a preliminary hearing in the court in Sassari.

The contested fact dates back to July 19, 2024 and would have occurred in the Duca bar on via Duca degli Abruzzi in Sassari when, according to the accusations, one of the three defendants, Luca Silanus, Stefano and Alessio Levanti, would have hit Ugo Poggi's head with a weapon, perhaps a hammer, never found. The reasons for the gesture have not yet been clarified.

Today in discussion, the prosecutor Erica Angioni has requested the referral to trial also for Poggi, accused of threats, requests accepted by the preliminary hearing judge Sergio De Luca. The defense lawyers of the three are Lorenzo Galisai, Marco Palmieri and Paolo Spano while Poggi is assisted by the lawyer Maria Assunta Argiolas. The preliminary hearing judge has adjourned to September 24 for the first hearing that will be held before the panel.
