The theme of Seaside Cities, said the mayor of Arzachena , Roberto Ragnedda, commenting on the meeting in Rome between Roberta Nesto, coordinator of the G20 Beaches, and the minister Daniela Santanchè to start the path towards a law that recognizes this "status" , «will be dealt with in the annual focus to be held from 3 to 5 May in Arzachena».

«Together with all the mayors of the G20Spiagge, we will be able to produce useful work, the result of an important and decisive administrative experience for the success of the new law. We will deal with issues of priority importance that unite the localities belonging to the network to find shared solutions capable of positively affecting the management of our territories".

The goal pursued for some time by the G20 Spiagge (of which Arzachena is a part together with Alghero) is to obtain a law that takes into account the problems that are created for seaside cities that go from 10 or 15 thousand inhabitants to over 100 or 200 thousand in the course of the summer months. "The goal that we all have is to guarantee an improvement in the quality of life for residents and to create new development opportunities for our communities: in this way we will be able to improve our tourist offer", said coordinator Roberta Nesto.

«Every promise is a debt - were the words of Minister Daniela Santanchè - «as announced to the mayors of the G20Spiagge, we have begun the work to find the most suitable tool for solving an existing, precise and motivated problem. It is our commitment to help the local seaside administrations».
