Next Saturday and in the days preceding the center and the port front of Cagliari will be armored for the ceremony of National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day. The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto will participate in the celebration, while the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Senate Ignazio La Russa have not yet been confirmed.
The safety measures are exceptional. Frantic meetings are underway in the Prefecture, only the final details remain to be defined. Certainly Via Roma on the sea side will be closed during the presence, arrival and departure of the Head of State.
The traders operating under the arcades were furious . «How will customers get to our stores if the area is a “red zone”? In these conditions we will keep the shutters down, it would make no sense to open."
