THE FEAST – It may seem like an obvious statement, but for the inhabitants of Sedano on the feast of San Costantino the religious aspect prevails over all the rest and if the Ardia continues to exist it is not only due to tradition or what has been handed down. On the contrary, it is renewed due to the great devotion that is nourished towards the holy emperor. The same deep faith that animates the knights, but above all the members of the council of San Costantino headed by the prioress Maria Laura Atzas . They are the group of women who are concerned with all the liturgical and non-liturgical aspects inherent in the sanctuary of Santu Antinu and who remain in office for one year. They have the important and delicate task of preparing everything in a punctual and careful manner, participating in all religious functions. Their task ends on August 31st at the end of the novena which begins on August 23rd, but the name of the prioress who will succeed the one whose mandate is about to expire will be communicated by the parish priest Don Battista Mongili on the occasion of the feast of the octave. «The sensations are wonderful - says Maria Laura Atzas - I didn't think you could feel what I'm experiencing, it's something indescribable. THE CELEBRATIONS – Tomorrow 6 July the holy masses begin very early both in the Sanctuary and in the Parish, but the most important religious function is that of 11 with the solemn Eucharistic concelebration in the Sanctuary accompanied by the parish choir of San Francesco with Nicola Norio on the organ .
