Alghero, maxi-brawl on the beach: two families against each other

What should have been a beautiful sunny Sunday ideal for relaxing by the sea on the Alghero seafront has instead turned into a Far West altercation.

It happened this morning around 11 at La Stalla beach, Mugoni area .

For reasons that remain to be established, a fight suddenly broke out, involving at least two families .

The members of the families, men and women, were given a good reason and in a few moments everything happened: slaps, shoves, screams.

The fight was quelled by some swimmers, pending the arrival of the police who will now have to shed some light on the matter.

Other bathers, however, given the situation, have abandoned the coast, heading to more peaceful places where they can spend a less busy Sunday.
