He wanted to escape with two stolen lobsters and found himself in the courtyard of the police station. Today in the Assizes Hall of the Sassari court, the prosecutor Angelo Beccu recalled the singular story before the judge Valentina Nuvoli and the public defender Stefano Porcu.

The facts date back to 30 December 2017 when BT allegedly stole two Cuban lobsters from a market in La Pietraia, a hamlet of Alghero. Hidden both in the pockets of his jacket, the man tried to make his tracks disappear with shellfish. But without going far because, without wanting to, he arrived in the adjacent barracks of the Arma, probably the last place he would have liked to end up.

Stopped by the military, he was found in possession of the lobsters and reported for theft and illegal entry into the military area. And while the first offense was forfeited because it was invalid on complaint, the second saw the prosecutor ask for a four-month sentence. The sentence is expected at the end of May.
