Alarm this morning in the Alghero area, shortly before midday, for a car on fire on the SS 127 Bis “Settentrionale Sarda” .

For reasons yet to be ascertained, a car caught fire while proceeding to enter the city. The man who was in the vehicle , alerted by other motorists, managed to stop and save himself , before the car was completely engulfed in flames.

Despite the rapid intervention of the firefighters, the car was destroyed .

The repercussions on traffic were inevitable, the local police were also on site to restore traffic flow.
