It is a community shocked by a grave loss, that of Esporlatu, the town of Goceano of almost 400 souls, in the province of Sassari, which had to say goodbye to a boy, who died prematurely at the age of 13.

Alessandro Dorgali passed away in his home after a long illness that left him no escape. He fought bravely until the end. News that also struck the town of Bono, where the boy attended school. On his empty desk there were balloons, flowers and votive candles. There is disbelief in the community that was shocked by a life cut short too quickly.

The discovery of the disease, just a year ago, had shocked the family. Condolences arrived from the municipal administration to the mother Antonella, to the father Antonello, an Argea employee, to the younger sister and to the older brother.

The mayor of Esporlatu, Antonio Fadda, has proclaimed a day of mourning: "Immense pain, we are close to the parents and their other two children." Tomorrow, February 21, his funeral will take place at 3:00 pm in the church of San Gavino Martire in Esporlatu.
