Few inconveniences in Sardinia due to the 24-hour national strike in the airport and related sectors involving all ground staff, proclaimed by the basic unions.

For now , six flights have been canceled over the island's skies , none of which concern territorial continuity.

All canceled connections are operated by Volotea: Verona-Alghero at 1.25pm, Alghero-Verona at 3.15pm, Verona-Olbia at 5.25pm, Venice-Olbia at 5.55pm, Olbia- Catania at 9.05pm and Catania-Olbia at 10.55pm .

There are currently no other cancellations or delays.

And in the aftermath of Ryanair's announcement that it will cut flights to the island after the fare cap imposed by the Meloni government, the wait is growing for the ruling of the Cagliari court, which today is called upon to decide whether or not to suspend the merger between Geasar and Sogeaal, the companies that manage the Olbia and Alghero airports .

The Council has decided to challenge the merger because it would lose several fundamental rights and would essentially become a spectator of other people's choices which would have a decisive impact on the lives of Sardinians.

Today the judges decide only whether to freeze the effects of the merger, which from 26 September become irreversible. The ruling on the merits will arrive in January .

There is another aspect on which the judges must rule. The merger of the airports in northern Sardinia, as well as the operation that should bring the Elmas airport under the control of the F2i fund, took place without public tenders. Is it legit?
